Atlanta radio's top songs and artists in 2012

Here are a few if the big winners on Atlanta's radio dial this year.

Mary J. Blige, known as The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, was the most played artist on Majic 107.5/97.5 in 2012. Here she's seen headlining a show at Chastain Park Amphitheatre on August 28, 2012.

Maroon 5's “One More Night” was the most played song on the new Power 96.1, which debuted in August. Maroon 5 was also the No. 2 most played artist on the station (Flo Rida was No. 1).

Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" was the most played song on Wild 105.7/96.7, but he was also the most played artist on Power 96.1 and the No. 3 most played artist on Q100. He's seen here at Power 96.1's inaugural Jingle Ball at Philips Arena in December 2012.

Gotye's"Somebody That I Used To Know" dominated the airwaves at Star 94, where it was the most played song of 2012.

Kelly Clarkson, shown here at the Fox Theatre in February 2012, had the top two singles at B98.5 in 2012. "Mr. Know-It-All" was No. 1 and "Stronger" was No. 2. "Stronger" was also the No. 2 most played song on Q100 and No. 3 on Star 94.

David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen were back together as Van Halen took to the road again this year. The two are seen here at Philips Arena in April. The band was also the most played artist of 2012 at Rock 100.5.

John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, the surviving members of rock group Led Zeppelin, were honored at the Kennedy Center this year. The band was also the most played artist on 97.1 The River in 2012.

Kenny Chesney, seen here at Philips Arena in June 2012, was the most played artists at both 94.9/The Bull and Kicks 101.5.

Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl" was the most played song of 2012 at Kicks 101.5. This photo is from here Dec. 19, 2012, stop at Gwinnett Arena.

Chris Brown's "Strip" got more spins in 2012 than any other song at Hot 107.9.

Atlanta's own Casting Crowns was the most played artist at Fish 104.7 in 2012 and the band's “Jesus Friend of Sinners” was the No. 4 most played song at the station.

Georgia native Brantley Gilbert's “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” was the most played song of 2012 at 94.9/The Bull. In fact, the Top 3 most played songs on that station were by Georgia natives. Jason Aldean's “Fly Over States” was No. 2 and Luke Bryan's “I Don’t Want This Night To End” was No. 3.
