Atlanta Holiday House 2009

The Atlanta Holiday House 2009 is a benefit for the Save a Smile Foundation and is open to the public for tours from November 21, 2009 through December 20, 2009.

The 2009 Atlanta Holiday House is open for tours from November 21st through December 20th. Tour proceeds will benefit the Save A Smile Foundation, which assists children born with a cleft palate. The home is an impressive 22,000 square feet with seven bedrooms, nine full baths and four half-baths.

The custom-built French estate is the work of Steven West Custom Homes and is his most elaborate custom design to date. The open, circular floor plan is both noble and grand. Guests may feel they have traveled back in time and are touring a castle in the French countryside.

The iron railing that anchors the winding staircase is hand-made. The flooring is made of imported French limestone.

The circular floor plan and detailed ceiling work leads to dramatic views such as this in almost every room of the Atlanta Holiday House.

The foyer and grand rotunda were designed by The Interior Motive, based in Roswell. The room combines traditional lines with high design and an edgy flair. One of the room's highlights is the diamond mirrored chair.

The kitchen was created by Sol Interiors. An entertainer's dream space, architectural elements from France find their way into the minimalist, high-end style. Custom cabinetry, light fixtures and bar stools make this room stand out with individual style.

This dining room area is perfect for intimate dinners. In addition to the abundance of natural light, an elegant chandelier provides a romantic glow.

The intricate design of the iron railing can be viewed from this vantage point, as well as the attractiveness of the open, circular floor plan.

These diamond-shaped mirrors are thoughtfully positioned on this wall, just one of the many unique decor elements of the Atlanta Holiday House.

These regal chairs are sure to impress guests in this sitting room area.

The upper common area was designed by Charles Neal Interiors. The room succeeds in creating a modern feel of an European castle. The designers were eager to tackle the unusual shape of this room, and exclusively used the Christopher Guy furniture line.

The master bedroom was designed by the Legacy Design Group. The goal of this room was to create an intimate, luxurious and inviting haven, according to the designers. The 8' tall headboard was custom designed. To add a bit of glamour to this sophisticated room, crystal, mercury glass and antiqued mirror are utilized in the design scheme.

Designers Unlimited created an elegant charm in this bedroom. Classic furnishings in a rich cream color scheme with warm color accents make this room inviting.

This bedroom's rustic visual element is both functional and eye-catching with the trio of tree stump seats at the foot of the bed.

This sophisticated dressing room area provides luxurious surroundings to prepare for a night on the town.

The majestic master bath was designed by Habachy Designs. A soothing spa-like atmosphere is created with the use of statuary marble and artisan mosaic tile work.

This bathroom's vanity area is sleek and modern with a unique mirrored backdrop, along with dual sinks and mirrors.

This powder room is a showcase for old world charm. Subtly feminine, the lightly embossed wall covering provides a tasteful backdrop to the room's eye-catching vanity area, where luxurious silk drapery frames the mirror.

A rustic touch is added to this bathroom, with the ladder used as an inventive towel holder.

The Wellness Center was designed by The Interior Motive. The design scheme in this room takes a holistic approach, utilizing a palette of bronze, sand and auburn. Amenities include a custom-designed steam shower, dry sauna and meditation room.

Adding to the spa-like ambiance, this massage table allows guests to unwind with a therapeutic treatment.

This lounge area demands attention with its striking visual elements, which center around the dramatic design of the wall and the use of rich, warm colors.
