Artists markets, galleries and museum shops offer stylish and unique gifts in kinder, gentler settings that can soothe your inner Scrooge and spark the true spirit of giving. Watch part brooches, $20, by artist Barbara O'Connell at the Holiday Artists Market at the Spruill Center for the Arts in Dunwoody. O'Connell passed away in March, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her items will go to further arts education opportunities in the community.

"Charming ARTifacts" art sale is held in the conservatory at the Callanwolde estate. Callanwolde instructors and students sell their one-of-a-kind works of art. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.
