If you’re looking for a way to spice up your at-home environment this summer, you may want to look into an offer from Google on its Nest Mini.

The technology company is offering its smart speaker for free, but only active, paid members of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music are eligible.

How to redeem the offer

  1. Log in to the Google account you use for YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium or Google Play.
  2. Visit this link to learn whether or not you've won a free Nest Mini.
  3. If you've won the smart speaker, use the promo code provided to redeem the offer.

Other stipulations

To qualify for the offer, you need to have been an active and paid member of the YouTube and Google music and video services since May 19. Membership cannot be paused as of the redemption date.

Subscribers can be on an individual plan, student plan or family plan head-of-household. They must redeem the offer by 11:59 PM PDT on June 30, 2020, or it will expire.

The promotional code is valid for one redemption of a Nest Mini and only on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to see if you’re a winner. Otherwise, you could always buy one — they usually retail for $50.

The Nest Mini was released in October and is the successor to the Google Home Mini. According to Business Insider, the speaker is basically Google's answer to Amazon's Echo Dot. Google says its speaker provides better sound quality and stronger bass. It also can adjust the tuning based on the volume level.
