Doctors who make house calls
Some doctors still make traditional house calls, although in some cases, you'll need to join a concierge medicine program in order to utilize this service. The following are some of the Atlanta-area doctors who make house calls:

Priority Pediatrics offers house calls as a part of their concierge service. You'll pay an annual fee for services that your health insurance doesn't cover, and you'll also pay for the medical services provided.

Clinicians are board-certified and have experience in urgent, chronic, geriatric, palliative, post-operative and other specialized types of care. The company offers house calls throughout the metro Atlanta area, including in Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties.
There's an app for that
Several different apps allow you to access health care by using your smartphone, laptop or another device. They're not intended to be used for emergencies, of course, but they're often appropriate for a wide range of health-related issues.
GoMed

GoMed has a staff of health-care professionals that includes nurse practitioners and physician's assistants who make house calls, and they're available seven days a week from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. They serve parts of Gwinnett County, as well as Coweta and Fayette counties.
Doctor on Demand
This app allows you to have a video chat with a doctor at a cost of $49 for 15 minutes. Regular medical, pediatric and mental health care is available from doctors in Georgia (as well as every other state except Alaska and Arkansas). Doctors can prescribe many medications, but don't prescribe muscle relaxants or narcotics. If you'd like to extend the visit, you'll be billed an additional $49 for each additional 15 minutes.
MDLive
MDLive is offered as a part of some health insurance policies. If you're not covered, you can still access the app for $49 per appointment. Board-certified doctors are available in Georgia, as well as other states.
