Happy Father's Day to the animal dads of Zoo Atlanta

Here are some of Zoo Atlanta's most adorable animal dads

Abu now lives with an all-male herd that includes fellow giraffes Etana, Isooba and Zuberi, but he's the dad of Zuri, the first giraffe calf ever born at Zoo Atlanta, and her younger sister Lily. Both Zuri and Lily now live at other zoos.

Betelgeuse's newest offspring just hatched in May 2016. He's a veteran father, and wreathed hornbill males are very hardworking dads. When a female is nesting, the male "muds her in" into a mud nest, leaving a small slit through which he feeds her and her chick.

Cocoa's daughter, Raisin, born in 2015, was the first sloth ever born at Zoo Atlanta.

George is Zoo Atlanta's newest dad -- an infant was born to female Lami on June 12.

Jasiri and his mate, Jill, have had three offspring so far, the youngest of whom was just born on May 20.

Kavi is the father of female Chelsea's cubs, Sohni and Sanjiv, born at Zoo Atlanta in 2011. Sohni and Sanjiv both now live at other zoos.

Ozzie, who died Tuesday, was the world's oldest living male gorilla. He was 61 years old. One of the original pioneers of the Zoo's Ford African Rain Forest, Ozzie has more than 25 descendants (including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren) living at Zoo Atlanta and at accredited zoos around the U.S.

Tambo is the father of four calves, with a fifth on the way; his mate, Matilda, is due this month. The critically endangered eastern bongo is believed to number fewer than 500 individuals in the wild.

The silverback of Zoo Atlanta's large family group, Taz is the father of eight offspring, with one on the way; Kudzoo, firstborn daughter of the legendary late Willie B., is expecting and due this fall.

The world-famous Yang Yang is the father of five cubs, including Mei Lun and Mei Huan, the only twin pandas in the U.S. Often described as an "eternal cub" himself, Yang Yang has never met any of his offspring; giant pandas are solitary in the wild.
