Celebrate nature this holiday season by putting a small piece of the forest under the tree. Peachtree Corners-based Forestique carves delicate wood veneer bracelet cuffs inspired by the beauty of the forest. The flexible, one-size-fits-all bracelets react to the environment to create a custom fit.

"These bracelets are constructed from thin pieces of natural wood," says artist and founder Henry Wischusen. "The warm hues textured with the grain wrapped around your wrist organically responds to your body heat and moisture. They are so light and comfortable; you can forget you have it on!"

Wischusen grew up woodworking and wanted to craft a piece of wearable art that would preserve the grain and character of the wood.

All the woods used by Forestique are their natural color and the company does use dye stains or chemicals and finishes the bracelets in natural tung oil. The result is lustrous, paper-thin and beautiful.
