Cars and ’Q
Barbecue and cars to view—it's everything you want to do, and contribute to a worthy cause at the same time. Choate Construction hosts its annual Cars and 'Q event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. What began as a small meet-up for Choate employees has blossomed into a major event with hundreds of cars and an abundance of food. Grab a bite from Jim 'n Nick's barbecue, and pair it with a glass of craft beer from different breweries, including Atlanta's Second Self. The cool cars on display are sure to be eye-popping. Previous years have included Ferraris from the 1950s, American muscle cars from the 1960s and new McLarens, as well as a replica of Georgia Tech's Ramblin' Wreck.
4-7 p.m. April 29. $20-$50. Choate Construction, 8200 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs. 678-892-1200, carsnq.passioncff.org.
