We’ve officially jumped the pop culture shark, you might be thinking, because we now have Pokémon-themed cocktails.

But after you’ve returned to your house after catching ‘em all, it’s hard to argue that you will probably need a drink. These can take the edge off whether you’ve collected that elusive Snorlax or not. One cocktail, the Golden Goldeen, will make a splash with friends because of Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, a rum aged for up to 12 years and imbued with notes of maple, orange and brown sugar.

Or you could whip up the Poliwag’s Martini instead, for a fruity twist on the classic. The Boozy Bellsprout is a good bet as well for its refreshing combination of pineapple and Blue Nectar Tequila. Go ahead, drink ‘em all. (Just maybe not all in one sitting.)

Boozy Bellsprout

2 oz. Blue Nectar Reposado Tequila

3 tbsp. crushed pineapple

1/2 oz. lemon juice

3/4 oz. agave nectar

1 sage leaf for garnish

Combine all the ingredients, including pineapple, in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Strain over crushed ice. Garnish with leftover pineapple and sage leaf.

Golden Goldeen

1 1/2 oz. Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva

1/2 oz. grapefruit cordial

1/2 oz. Cocchi Americano

2 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Grapefruit zest for garnish

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass with large ice. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit zest.

Poliwag’s Martini

1/2 oz. The London No. 1 Gin

1/2 oz. St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur

1/2 oz. Lillet Blanc

3/4 oz. Lemon

Dash of egg whites

Blueberries for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a Boston shaker, adding the egg whites last, and double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with blueberries.
