Finally, a book for lovers of booze, puns and movies.

The author who proved his talent as a wordsmith with “Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails With a Literary Twist” is at it again, this time with a cocktail recipe guide featuring drinks that have all been named after some of our favorite flicks.

“Gone With the Gin” by Tim Federle (Running Press, $15) is divided into sections by movie genre and features some truly magical puns combining the name of the film with something drink-related, as the title suggests. (Star Wars: The Empire Likes Jack really got to me, among others. Clever, that Federle.)

The cocktails themselves all relate back to their names in some way. The Rocky Horror Pisco Show, for instance, is a pisco brandy drink with cranberry juice, lime juice and Cointreau whose instructions direct you to serve with an extra helping of meat loaf. The Ti-Tonic (the “Titanic,” that is) is particularly brilliant: mezcal, honey, Aperol, 3 drops of salt water and some tonic water for good measure.

“In lieu of an actual iceberg, strain over ice in a Collins glass and add the salt water,” Federle’s recipe instructions read.

Here are a couple other wink-filled recipes from “Gone With the Gin.”

West Cider Story

2 oz. Caribbean rum

1 oz. pineapple juice

1/2 oz. falernum

4 mint sprigs

3 oz. sparkling apple cider

Combine the rum, pineapple juice, falernum and mint with ice in a shaker and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a highball glass, top with sparkling cider and go sing a love song on the fire escape.

Jurassic Port

1 1/2 oz. rye whiskey

3/4 oz. lemon juice

3/4 oz. simple syrup

1/2 oz. port wine

1/2 egg white

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and dry shake for 10 seconds. Add a handful of ice and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass, find a secure location and never forget: If dinosaurs can open doors, they can certainly steal a drink.
