Four Atlanta restaurants are the 'best barbecue joints in America,' according to ranking

In Atlanta, our cup runneth over with top notch, lip-smacking ribs and brisket, but, according to one national ranking,  four Atlanta-area barbecue favorites have roasted both their local and national pit peers.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q ranked No.4 on Business Insider and Foursquare's list of "50 best barbecue joints in America." Decatur's Community Q took the next highest spot for a local barbecue joint at No. 18. While Heirloom Market BBQ and Fat Matt's Rib Shack were neck and neck at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively.

The business news website and local search-and-discovery mobile app compiled the list based on the barbecue restaurants Foursquare users saved or marked as "favorites" on the app, according to Business Insider.
