Atlanta ranked among America's best 'foodie cities'

Atlantans love food about as much as we hate traffic, so it's no surprise that the city we call home was listed among WalletHub's top cities for foodies.

For WalletHub's "Best & Worst Foodie Cities" ranking, analysts examined 150 of the largest cities in the nation to determine not only the best foodie scenes, but the cheapest, too.

After comparing data across 21 key metrics like cost of groceries, prevalence of affordable restaurants rated at least 4.5 stars and number of food festivals per capita, Atlanta ranked No. 14 among the 150 cities.

Though Atlanta didn't rank very high for affordability, the city came in at No. 11 for diversity, accessibility and quality.

The best foodie city, according to WalletHub, is Orlando, Florida.
