Cheshire Bridge Road has been one of Atlanta's adult playgrounds for many years, but it's also home to beloved restaurant the Colonnade.

The original caption from July 17, 1978: "Cheshire Bridge Road contains many adult strip clubs, such as She." A few years later, the club's owner was convicted of racketeering charges and the government seized the property.

The Colonnade, a Cheshire Bridge Road institution that has been in it's current home since 1962. It was founded in 1927 at the corner of Piedmont Road and Lindbergh Drive.

Feb. 13, 1985 - Atlanta, Ga.: - Deputy Marshal William Floyd posts warning signs on the She Club on Cheshire Bridge Road in February 1985 after the club's owner was convicted of racketeering charges and the government seized the property. The government briefly considered operating the club, but soon decided against it.
