Flashback photos: More 1995, 25 years ago in Georgia, Part Two
The Olympics were headed our way, so the city was under constant construction and re-construction. Centennial Olympic Park was about to go from a big empty space (after all of the buildings were razed) to an expanse of green in the heart of downtown. Conyers was experiencing some of that change, too, with the equestrian venue being built there. And Freaknik was at its height, and in some ways, it was the beginning of the end for the annual spring break gathering, at least as it existed then.
