Two of DeKalb’s 12 cities, Chamblee and Brookhaven sit side by side just northeast of Atlanta. They became cities more than a decade apart, Chamblee in 1908 and Brookhaven in 2012. Despite its relatively new designation, Brookhaven is DeKalb’s largest city.
