Flashback photos: Atlanta cityscapes, 1950-59, Part One
Atlanta looked very different in the 1950s, but there are small reminders that still remain from those days. If you’ve spent any time downtown recently, you’ll still recognize some of the buildings in these photos. Others, of course, are long gone, some to make way for the nascent Downtown Connector that was in the process of becoming both a lifeline and the bane of our existence.
