Flashback photos: Atlanta buildings and streets in the 1980s
For some of us, it seems like yesterday, but Atlanta looked very different in the 1980s. When the decade began, the Downtown Connector didn’t even exist and MARTA was a brand new thing (the first ride took place in 1979). But Atlanta mainstays like traffic and the Varsity were firmly established. Here’s our photographic journey back to Atlanta as it was in the 1980s.
