Flashback photos: The Fox Theatre, 1929-2019

Take a look back at the theater's history in photographs, including some of the legends that have graced the art-deco masterpiece's stage.

If you've lived in Atlanta for more than a week, you probably know the history of the theater backwards and forwards. Conceived as a Shriner's temple and finished as a grand theater, it opened on Christmas Day, 1929, as seen here, with crowds lined up around the block for their first look.
