Georgia Track Club is hosting its first annual Family Fit Run Day Saturday at 8 a.m.
at the Anderson Park Recreation Center in Atlanta (120 Anderson Avenue NW, Atlanta)
It is free and open to the public. The event ends at 12 noon Saturday.
The Family Fit Fun Run Day will feature a fitness festival, 2-mile run fun, autograph signing with Olympic athletes, raffle, games and entertainment for all ages, and more. Families are encouraged to register for the event online at
Hazel Clark, executive director Georgia Track Club, Nike has donated over $30,000 dollars of participant giveaways and they will be given first come first serve.
Sponsored by Nike, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, DripDrop RaceTrac, Big Peach Running Co. and West Stride, this free event is designed to encourage families and communities to be active and benefits the Georgia Track Club.
The Georgia Track Club is a nonprofit organization supporting Georgia’s elite athletes and has programs fighting childhood obesity.
