Spartan Race is looking for the world’s fittest bride.

The first 15 brides to sign up and qualify for the Spartan Fittest Bride Challenge, will receive free lodging; and the first 100 qualified entries will be selected to participate in the race. Contestants must be either formally engaged and/or planning to be married by the summer of 2016.

The challenge will be held Oct. 18th at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT. The bride-to-be with the fastest time up and down the mountain course set on the farm wins the event.

In what promises to be a showdown of epic proportions, brides-to-be will get the chance to appear on a TV news story, with the winner receiving a wedding reception at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT. Riverside Farm features six beautifully restored barns, over 700 acres of sprawling Vermont land, a working organic farm and much more. Riverside Farm is one of New England’s most exclusive wedding venues.

For a chance to compete, interested brides-to-be should provide a brief message telling Spartan about themselves, accompanied by a link to a photo.

“We are excited to invite brides-to-be from our global Spartan community, to come up to Vermont to compete in our newest challenge,” Spartan Race Founder and CEO Joe De Sena said. “With so many phenomenal women competitors who come out to each of our races, we thought this would be a perfect way to help celebrate those who will be tying the knot. As always, we’ll be putting them through a true test of grit and determination to ultimately decide who is the fittest of them all, and who wants it most!”
