SUCCESS STORY / Felicia Smith, 46: From 231 pounds to 154 pounds

Former weight: 231 pounds

Current weight: 154 pounds

Pounds lost: 77

Height: 5 feet 5 inches

Age: 46

How long she's kept it off: She started in January 2010 and plans to lose 10 to 15 pounds more.

Personal life: "I am a banker, wife, mother and grandmother," said Smith. "I live in LaGrange, Ga. I am married to Rick and have two beautiful children, Ally and Braxton. I am enjoying being a first-time grandmother to Anniston.

Turning point: "I have had weight issues most of my life, but when I was approached about taking a cruise with several of my Zumba class members, I knew I had to do something to get the weight off," she said. "I had never been on a cruise, and it was set to sail on my 45th birthday ... I did lose when I got back from the cruise, so I thought that was pretty amazing considering all of the food on the ship. I have tried Weight Watchers many times in the past; this time I am doing Weight Watchers.

Diet plan: Breakfast is yogurt or oatmeal. Lunch is a deli meat chicken sandwich on bread rounds, and dinner is grilled chicken with vegetables.

Exercise routine: "I attend a Zumba fitness class three to four times a week," she said. "I actually started Zumba a year before I started Weight Watchers. I wasn't really losing any weight from the Zumba, so it proves to me that diet and exercise work together. I have recently started attending ... other yoga toning classes and am gaining muscle mass as a result. I can't believe that I continue to lose weight. Between the Zumba and yoga five to six days a week, I have been able to see my body change in ways that I never thought possible."

Biggest challenge: "My biggest challenge would have to be controlling my sweet tooth," she said. "I have learned that as long as I track what I am eating, I can have things I really love and stay on plan."

How life has changed: "I am more confident in myself now that I have lost weight and definitely more active," she said. "When you are overweight, you hide behind the weight -- I don't plan to ever go there again."
