BEST FIND: "My favorite thing that I own is a pair of black boots (formerly owned by her roommate). They slowly made their way into my closet. I wear those boots when I play."

STAND-OUT FASHION MOMENT: "When I showed up to school in eighth grade (after years of being home-schooled). I was wearing army boots, a long peasant skirt and a baggy cardigan sweater with hot pink glasses for school in Lilburn. It was like 'Whoa! I'm out of place.' I learned a lot about myself then."

This broach such was given to Coffee by a fan, alluding to one of her album titles "Songs to Sail By."

BIGGEST SPLURGE: "I've never splurged for myself when it comes to fashion, but I definitely have splurged on musical equipment. My latest splurge would be my Yamaha CP33 [a keyboard synthesizer]."

FAVORITE STORES: Sole, Urban Outfitters, Squash Blossom. FAVORITE LABELS: Free People, Lux. Coffee often wears this turquoise beaded necklace purchased at an antique store in Washington, Ga.

A WEAKNESS: "Red lipstick. Right now it is Certainly Red by Revlon."

ATLANTA STYLE IS...: "The down home of the South, but well traveled."

A FASHION PET PEEVE: "Girls who are wearing skinny jeans who ought not to be wearing the skinny jeans. That drives me crazy." Coffee found this bubble ring at Heliotrope in Decatur.
