TAME YOUR MANE

For years, hairstylists have used household dryer sheets to fight frizzy hair. Kérastase Paris, inspired by this industry secret, has created Carré Lissant, its new anti-frizz smoothing sheet. The 50 disposable, water-free sheets are conveniently packaged to fit in your purse and work to eliminate frizz, control static, tame flyaways and block humidity. A mix of grapefruit, rose petals, patchouli and other fragrances leave your hair freshly scented. The sheets are available for $28.50 at www.kerastase-usa.com.

BEAUTY AND THE BALLET

Here’s a fun collaboration from Clinique and American Ballet Theatre. The Nutcracker Suite was inspired by the characters, costumes and performances of the classic ballet first performed in 1892. Nutcracker Act I, inspired by the Dance of the Snowflakes, showcases shades of pink while Nutcracker Act II, inspired by the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy, features plum shades. Each act includes a color compact with an eye-shadow quad and coordinating Blushing Blush Powder Plush ($36) and are completed with complementary shades of Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm ($17), and the new Blended Face Powder with brush ($24).
