A group of pastors issued a statement calling for equal rights regardless of race. Doesn't sound like much now, but in 1957 it was a daring stand. A new play dramatizes the so-called Ministers Manifesto. Tom Key of Theatrical Outfit will read from it at a commemoration event on Oct. 25.
