Thunder Moon night hike

Seek out young male deer in the dark on the Thunder Moon hike, July 22 from 8-9:30 p.m.. The Thunder Moon is when the velvet-covered antlers begin to show on young bucks. All ages are encouraged to join in the adventure, exploring trails at night. Meet in the lobby of the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, 2020 Clean Water Drive, Buford, Ga., 30519, at 8 p.m. Pre-registration online is required, at www.gwinnettEHC.org.
