Alligator season hunting applications due by July 31

Applications for this season’s alligator hunt are due by midnight July 31. Only 850 applicants will be selected for the 2013 hunting season, which runs from September 7 to October 6. In 2012, 850 hunters harvested 247 alligators, at an average length of 99 inches. Visit www.georgiawildlife.com/hunting/alligator for more information on how to apply.
