Throughout the spring and summer months, downtown Duluth will come to life on Friday nights with food, art, entertainment and more.

The Fridays-N-Duluth event series will be back every week beginning on May 1.

The inaugural event of the season will get underway at 6 p.m. with live music on the Festival Center stage and in Parsons alley. Throughout the evening there will be food trucks and a free lantern-making station with SKA Academy of Art and Design.

There will also be an art walk in Parsons Alley presented by the Duluth Fine Arts League.

At 8:45 p.m., the event will conclude with a lantern walk.

If you can’t make it on May 1, don’t fret. Firdays-N-Duluth will be held every week through August.

And remember, since Duluth is one of the few cities in metro Atlanta to relax its open container laws, visitors can grab a brew and stroll around while enjoying the Friday evening festivities.
