Spring is the perfect season to explore Atlanta. And, what better way to explore the city than with a significant other?
Whether you’re going on a first date or treating a long-term lover to a night out, there is plenty to do now that the weather is warm.
From touring the city on a bicycle to enjoying a cocktail on a rooftop with the Atlanta skyline as your backdrop, here are 10 fun spring date suggestions:
Visit a rooftop bar or restaurant
Elevate the typical restaurant date by sitting on a roof and taking in a beautiful view.
Skylounge at the Glenn is open seven days a week and is covered by an awning so that you can enjoy the atmosphere even on cooler days. Enjoy cocktails and small plates and, on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., listen to live music from local musicians.
There is a $5 cover charge for non hotel guests on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 7 p.m. Skylounge only accepts cash for the cover fee.
For a more casual date, visit the roof of Six Feet Under's Grant Park or West Midtown locations. Order oysters, crab claws and draft beers with your date, while taking in the Atlanta skyline.
Visit TopGolf
Order TopGolf Tea, aka long island iced tea with Tito's handmade vodka, Bacardi Superior run, Bombay Sapphire gin and lemon ($9.50), and Top Golf Wings glazed in mango habanero, Asian sesame, buffalo or barbecue sauce ($10).
Then, compete with your date in the venue’s signature self-titled game and see who can earn more points by hitting the most balls into one of the targets.
If you're looking to get outside and enjoy some mini golf, there are a few options for that around Atlanta, too.
Bicycle Tours
"Fall in Love with Atlanta" and your date by participating in Bicycle Tours of Altanta's popular tour. This three-hour, 8-mile exploration of Atlanta will take participants through Sweet Auburn, Inman Park, Little Five Points, Cabbage Town and Grant Park.
Bike past street art before biking through Oakland Cemetery. This tour costs $59 and includes a bike, helmet, water and snacks.
Bicycle Tours of Atlanta is planning several new tours for the spring season, including one that includes a stop at Venkman’s to hear a David Bowie tribute band.

Restaurant Weeks
From Atlanta's Airport District to Inman Park and Buckhead, several communities are hosting restaurant weeks within the next few months. Restaurants such as College Park's Corner Grille and Buckhead's Bistro Niko are offering prix-fixe menus for one week, ensuring that you and your date can experience great food on a budget.
Set out to discover a new restaurant within each community during the various restaurant weeks and create fun, new memories with your date.
Spring Festivals
Many of the festivals are free to attend, so you’d only have to pay for food and whatever else you buy while shopping at the festival.
This date could be a great opportunity to share your favorite things about the city you live in with your date or a fun opportunity to explore a new community together.
Go to the circus
Cirque du Soleil isn't just fun for families.
Watch as two married acrobats display their love for one another and take in the stunning set and costumes during this fun show.
Tickets start at $28.
Parking for the show is in the Atlantic Station parking garage, so it’s easy to extend the date by visiting one of the nearby bars such as Meehan’s Public House or Lobby.
Jazz at the High Museum
Enjoy live music, drinks, art and more for $10 at the High Museum. The third Friday of each month is jazz night at the museum.
Listen to live music and sip cocktails with your date, then see who can complete the best sketch of a live clothed model.
There is no reserved seating for this event, so arriving as close as possible to the 6 p.m. start time is encouraged. The event ends at 10 p.m.
Six Flags
Take your love to new heights with Six Flag's new New Revolution at Dare Devil Dive rollercoaster.
Riders will be given virtual reality headsets that will place them in virtual fighter jets as they attempt to save Earth from alien invasion.
New Revolution at Dare Devil Dive will open to the public on March 19, making a trip to the amusement park the perfect way to see how adventurous your date is this spring.
Tickets to the park can be purchased online. Online prices start at $44.99.
Explore the Beltline
Stroll the Atlanta Beltline, viewing visual installations before stopping at Krog Street Market or Ponce City Market to shop and eat at restaurants such as Marrakesh Mediterranean or Gu's Dumplings.
Indoor Climbing
Whether you and your date are novice climbers or experts, visiting Atlanta Rocks could be a fun bonding experience. Receive 6 climbs for $15 per person or indulge in two-hours of supervised climbing for $25 at the indoor facility.
