Of course, you think your dog is pretty awesome.

Does your pooch, though, have what it takes to be Piedmont Park’s Dog of the Year?

The Piedmont Park Conservancy is looking for a special four-legged friend to represent Piedmont Park for the upcoming year. Here what the winning dog will receive:

Contestants will go through an initial photo contest to gain the most likes. The top six dogs will then attend an in-park contest on Aug. 11 to compete for the title.

It takes some work, though. There’s no bathing suit competition, but  dogs will have to sit for the owner, walk with the owner (without walking the owner) and display 15 to 30 seconds of free-play.
