Walmart has more than fireworks and barbecue fixings planned for its customers this Fourth of July.
The big box retailer has kicked off America’s birthday with a blockbuster sale that will go on from now until July 7. The sale, available online and in store, includes a number of items that could be useful for your barbecue, including a nifty indoor/outdoor grill, and items for leisure, like a 8-foot kayak.
Here are some of the top deals Walmart will offer during its July 4 savings event:
George Foreman 15+ Serving Indoor/Outdoor Electric Grill, Gun Metal, GFO240GM
If you’re new to the whole grilling out for Fourth of July concept, Walmart has an affordable grill that’ll make you come out like a pro on Independence Day. The George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor grill can cook up to as many as 15 servings of meats and vegetables, and will cook those items in just the right amount of heat. The grill retails for $99 but during the sale it’s going for $59.99.
Lifetime Daylite 80 Sit-On-Top Kayak (Paddle Included), Red, 90775
Nothing says ‘summertime’ like hitting the water. If you’ve been in search of an affordable, starter kayak to navigate some of the Georgia waterways like Allatoona Lake, look no further. Walmart has an 8-foot Daylite kayak, equipped with a comfortable backrest, paddle, tankwell storage and secure bungee. It’s available in red, aqua and lime green. It would typically cost $315, but with the July 4 sale the water warrior starts at just $148.
Considering the July heat, it’s only natural that a break from the outdoors will be in order throughout the summer. When lounging inside checking out Netflix’s July arrivals, you could be doing so on a massive Samsung 58-inch screen. The big screen, which has smart functionality, would typically cost about $650 but from now until July 7, it’s $547.99 at walmart.com and at Walmart stores.
Take a load off this holiday on a comfy outdoor couch. The Walmart brand Mainstays gives you several seats, five to be exact, including an L-style sofa, two ottomans and two cushioned chairs. There’s a major savings for this set during the Fourth of July week with the set, normally priced at about $700, going for $375.
If the night gets chilly in your neck of the woods, you might want a little help after the sun sets. The 28-inch Lattice Heavy Duty Fire Pit, by Better Homes & Gardens, can take you from chilly summer nights to even chillier fall evenings. The “rollback” price for this outdoor gem is $89.98, down from its retail price of $117.
A versatile grilling option is not out of reach this summer. Char-Broil Kamander’s Charcoal Kamado Grill serves as your outdoor cooking buddy that’s capable of smoking, grilling, baking or roasting your favorite dishes — from Boston Butt to vegetable kebabs. The robust cooking contraption also features a double-walled steel construction and a large folding side shelf. Walmart’s dropped the price for the grill from $349 to $298 for the Fourth of July sale.
