Make it seem like you spent hours in your mysteriously clean kitchen with a little help from these places serving Thanksgiving items to go:
Alon's: Order a complete packaged feast or a la carte items including antipasti platters, pumpkin soup, corn bread chestnut dressing and apple-brined turkey breast. The bakery will offer a range of fall desserts including double-crusted apple pie, pecan pie and pumpkin creme caramel. Deadline for orders is 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25. Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q: If you find cooking a turkey intimidating, you can pick up a 12- to 14-pound smoked turkey with gravy at Fox Bros. for $60. The restaurant will also offer sides such as green bean casserole and mac 'n' cheese and desserts including chocolate pecan bars. The General Muir: For the rare occasion that Hanukkah falls on Thanksgiving this year, The General Muir is offering a special "Thanksgivukah" meal. It includes a heritage turkey roast, celery root gratin and roasted Brussels sprouts. For dessert, you'll have a choice of apple spice cake for Thanksgiving or olive oil lemon cake and blue and white cookies for Hanukkah. The meal will serve 10 guests ($450). The Mill Kitchen & Bar: This Roswell restaurant will offer Thanksgiving meals to feed a small group of six to eight ($95) or a larger crowd of 10 to 12 guests ($145). Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails: This Crabapple restaurant is offering apple-brined, smoked turkeys with Madeira gravy and sage-corn spoonbread for $75. Items come with heating instructions and are intended to feed six to eight people. Pie Shop: If you like to prepare the Thanksgiving meal but just don't have time to make dessert, you can pick up some pie at Pie Shop in Buckhead. The Buckhead bakery is offering eight Thanksgiving options, including pumpkin, bourbon pecan, sweet potato and ginger-molasses chess pies. Orders are accepted through Monday, Nov. 25, and must be paid for in advance. They can be picked up Nov. 26-27. Serpas: Order a four-course meal for four ($120) or eight guests ($220) from Serpas. Choose between oven-roasted turkey breast or fried turkey ($35 additional) to pair with the three sides and desserts.
