Lady, a 3-year-old spayed domestic short hair, is a gorgeous, sweet cat who just loves hanging out. She’s been housed with other cats at the Atlanta Humane Society for a while now, and she seems to get along fine with them. Lady’s an easygoing, laid-back kinda gal who enjoys perching in windowsills, lying in patches of sunlight, playing with toys, and eating a good meal. She needs a little extra TLC as she has a bad tooth (which may need to be extracted later), but she is a great companion for anyone. She will need a good scratching post to keep her claws in top shape. Your veterinarian can show you how to trim the claws regularly to cut down on inappropriate scratching. Scratching is natural for cats, so keeping their claws short and giving them appropriate places to scratch is helping to fulfill their needs.
