CARE USA is partnering with the World Affairs Council of Atlanta and the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies to host the third Atlanta Summit, “Health in Africa – The Unfinished Agenda”.
There has been much success in Africa, economically and in terms of healthy, but much work remains. The conference will address the obstacles to lasting change in health care delivery on the continent.
The day-long conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta Hotel, 3391 Peachtree Road N.E..
Speakers include Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) , former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden and CARE President and CEO Dr. Helene Gayle.
