Two Atlanta-based productions released trailers today: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “Red Notice” and Tyler Perry’s BET+ drama “All the Queen’s Men.”

“All the Queen’s Men” stars Eva Marcille as the owner of a male strip club. The series, shot at Tyler Perry Studios, is based on a popular book “Ladies Night” by Christian Keyes and is set to come out Sept. 9 on the BET+ streaming service.

Tyler Perry is an executive producer and director. Keyes, not Perry, wrote the series.

Marcille plays Marilyn “Madam” DeVille, a fierce businesswoman surrounded by a band of trusted employees who are down to make sure that she is successful. But Madam, a self-proclaimed boss, soon discovers that more money and more power mean more problems.

Marcille spent two seasons on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2019 and 2020.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, star in a new action film on Netflix Nov. 12 called “Red Notice.”

After Interpol issues a “red notice” to hunt down two big-time criminals played by art thieves Gadot and Reynolds, FBI’s top profiler (Johnson) tries to do so. It appears in the trailer that his agent character nabs Reynolds quickly but Gadot’s villain is a bit more elusive.

And as befitting action thrillers like this, the trailer features big explosions, pretty European vistas, black-tie galas, sexual innuendo and quips galore.

The film was largely shot in Atlanta with Blackhall Studios as its base, but the movie did spend time in Italy as well.
