Madonna is postponing her upcoming tour due to a “serious bacterial infection” that recently placed her in the ICU, her manager Guy Oseary wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday.

That includes her scheduled State Farm Arena stop on Tuesday, Sept. 5, which appears to be largely sold out. Details on refunds will be forthcoming.

Oseary said she developed the infection this past Saturday that placed her in the ICU for several days. “Her health is improving” and a “full recovery is expected,” he wrote. But “at this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”

He said management will announce rescheduled dates going when they become available.
