Jack Black is back in metro Atlanta to shoot the Farrelly Brothers Christmas-themed comedy “Dear Santa.”

The “School of Rock” star previously shot part of two “Jumani” films in Atlanta: 2017′s “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and 2019′s “Jumanji: The Next Level.”

Black was seen in downtown Decatur last week shooting the film and he posted an Instagram photo from the set teasing the movie’s thematics in what appeared to be a Christmas village.

This is the second time he has worked with the Farrelly Brothers but his first time goes back 22 years to 2001′s hit film “Shallow Hal” which co-starred Gwyneth Paltrow and Jason Alexander. The Farrelly Brothers are also known for movies like “There’s Something About Mary,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “Kingpin.” The producing duo also shot the 2011 comedy “Hall Pass” in Atlanta starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis.

Deadline reports that “Dear Santa” centers on a young boy who, in writing his yearly note to Santa, mixes up the letters and sends it to Satan instead.

Others in the cast include Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, PJ Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, Kai Cech and Austin Post.

Black is voicing Bowser in the upcoming movie “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.”
