Live in a world of magic and imagination with Disney’s new neighborhood community.

On Wednesday, the Walt Disney Company announced the launch of “Storyliving by Disney,” a residential community aimed at Disney fans. The concept for the community will be developed by Disney Imagineers in collaboration with developers and homebuilders.

“These master-planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives — all while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities and special touches that are Disney hallmarks,” Disney said in a press release.

The first Disney Storyliving location, Cotino, will be in Rancho Mirage, in California’s Coachella Valley — a place where Walt Disney and his family used to retreat, according to the release.

Single-family homes and condominiums will be available in Cotino, as well as a section for residents 55 and older. A hotel, as well as dining, retail and entertainment areas will also be available in the community.

Cotino is built around a 24-acre lagoon, which can be used for beach and water activities. A clubhouse will be available, as well as year-round Disney programming, entertainment and activities.

According to the company, future Storyliving communities will be located across the country. Visit storylivingbydisney.com to learn more.
