The best time to enjoy pizza is anytime. But an event this fall will be an especially good time. The Atlanta Pizza Festival will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, and attendees can visit the Pinnacle Parking lot at Atlantic Station for some cheesy goodness.

Tickets are on sale now for the family-friendly event. It will showcase not only Atlanta’s best pizza but pizzerias from around the country. General admission tickets are $15 and slices are sold separately at each booth. General admission begins at 1 p.m. VIP tickets are $35 and includes unlimited pizza samples and early entry at noon.

“After experiencing the thriving and diverse community that make up the city of Atlanta, we knew we wanted to bring an event that would engage anyone and everyone,” said Giancarlo Natale, co-director of the Atlanta Pizza Festival. “Our goal is to bring the Atlanta community a fully immersive experience through delicious pizza, local entertainment and interactive activities.”

Guest can expect local music, live entertainment, activities and high-quality beer and wine. A variety of pizza styles will be offered, including gluten-free options. Each chef will be cooking throughout the day using a hand-crafted Neapolitan-style oven from restaurant supply store Marra Forni.

Atlanta Pizza Festival attendees can enjoy their slices knowing they’re supporting Christopher’s Haven Atlanta, which provides families a home when their children receive cancer treatment at local hospitals. Christopher’s Haven Atlanta families will receive complimentary tickets to the inaugural Atlanta Pizza Festival. Team members will be on-site offering information to festival guests about their mission.

Follow the Atlanta Pizza Festival on Facebook and Instagram for updates on vendors and pizzerias at the festival.
