Alicia Keys has rescheduled her “World Tour” for 2021, including a new date at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park.

The singer-musician will now perform July 29, 2021 (the tour kicks off July 27 in Jacksonville). Previously purchased tickets will be honored; otherwise a refund can be requested (ticket holders will be emailed directly with more information). Visit livenation.com/refund for more information.

Keys would have had a busy 2020 in Atlanta, with a book appearance at Atlanta Symphony Hall in April and a June 30 performance at Chastain. A new date for the book tour to promote her “More Myself: A Journey,” which arrived in March, has not been announced. Keys’ next album, “Alicia,” is due this fall. In June, she released the ballad, “Perfect Way to Die.”

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
