What’s your idea of a fancy restaurant? At one point in life, perhaps Olive Garden or Red Lobster made the top of your list. But according to a viral Twitter thread, those eateries aren’t the cream of the crop among adults.

Comedian John Crist took to the social media platform Sunday to ask Twitter users, “What restaurant did you think was nice as a kid but when you became an adult realized it wasn’t that nice?”

Growing up, he said he and his family went to American-style restaurant chain Shoney’s on special occasions and he “was convinced it was five star.”

Crist added that his sister told him “when I was little I thought ‘when I get rich I’m gonna go to PF Chang’s’.”

The thread seemed to lead Red Lobster and Olive Garden to become trending topics on Twitter Monday.

“Olive Garden should be everyone’s answer,” one person said.

Another tweeted that going to the eatery, which specializes in Italian-American fare, meant they had to dress up.

Still, at least one person believed that Olive Garden couldn’t be considered a luxury meal.

Red Lobster also became a highly discussed restaurant.

“OG and Red Lobster are the correct answers and also the same answer somehow,” one Twitter user said.

In response, others echoed that they believed the seafood chain was a sign of classiness as children.

Pizza Hut, which also became a trending topic, managed to come up several times in the thread.
