“Proved the haters wrong,” Alana Thompson captioned a TikTok of herself in a yellow cap and gown at the commencement ceremony. “Next stop graduating college!”

Her mother, June Shannon, also posted to social media. “I‘m so proud of her she is our 2023 graduate and yes we was hollering the whole time WTG LANA,” she wrote in one Instagram post, followed by “AND YALL KNOW I SCREAMED WORK IT SMOOCHIE ONE LAST TIME.”

Another post was a series of photos and videos, including those with her sisters, legal guardian Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 23, and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, 28, who is battling cancer.

According to the high school’s Facebook page, Thompson’s favorite memories of high school were “running through the halls trying not to get caught skipping and hanging out with all my friends!” she wrote. “I’m gonna miss high school a little bit.”

In August, the reality TV star wrote, she’ll be going to Regis University to major in neonatal nursing.
