Just about every county has a 5K taking place, along with a wide array of other events the whole family will enjoy. From truck shows to back-to-school bashes, there's a little something for everyone.

The 7th Annual Hero Run takes place in Kennesaw this Saturday, and is hoping to host over 2000 runners and walkers to raise money for wounded veteran charities. This Peachtree Road Race qualifier will take you through Downtown Kennesaw and includes a 1K mile walk and 5K race.

If your kids love big vehicles (or if you do) don't miss the Touch a Truck and More Festival happening at the Mable House this Saturday. Visitors will enjoy seeing a variety of amazing machinery as well as food trucks, a fun zone and arts and crafts.
