The last week of October in DeKalb County is full of Halloween celebrations and homegrown festivities, so put one (or more) of these on your calendar.

Atlanta

Martinis and IMAX Fright Night | 7 p.m. Oct. 30
Fernbank Museum, 767 Clifton Road, Atlanta
For this Halloween version of Fernbank's weekly Martinis and IMAX event, the museum is hosting what it calls the NSFW (Not Suitable for Wimps) Halloween party. The adults-only party will have a special drink menu, costume contest and live music. Two IMAX movies, "Robot" and "Wonders of the Arctic," will be screened.

Halloween Night on Callanwolde Mountain | 6-9 p.m. Oct. 30

LEGOs, costumes, music and candy are all part of the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center's Halloween spectacular on its 12-acre estate. Callanwolde is partnering with Legoland Discovery Center for building activities. Musical guests include Atlanta Braves organist Matthew Kaminski, who will play selections from "Phantom of the Opera," "Pirates of the Caribbean" and others. The events are for kids and adults.

Show Halloween and Decatur pride by attending and even participating in the fourth annual parade. Brass bands and ensembles will be jamming at the bandstand on the Decatur Square after the parade. Lineup for vehicles and floats starts at 3 p.m.; walkers can line up at 3:30 p.m.
