Marietta
2016 Model Train Show. Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12 - 13. $10 for adults, kids 12 and under get in free. Whether you're a train enthusiast, model train builder or just looking for something out of the ordinary, the Model Train Show offers over 250 vendor tables, model train club display layouts, door prizes, raffles and even a kid's area.
North East Cobb Community Egg Drop. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 26. Free, but $7 for unlimited rides in Kid's Zones. Sprayberry High School, 2525 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta. www.communityeggdrop.com. Give your children an Easter they'll remember by taking them to the North East Cobb Community Egg Drop. At 1:30 p.m., a helicopter will drop 50,000 eggs filled with double the candy on to the football field. Toddlers hunt at 11:30 a.m., kids ages 4 to 7 hunt at 1:45 p.m. and kids ages 8 to 10 take to the hunting field at 3:30 p.m. This year's egg drop will also include face painting, bouncy houses, inflatable slides and even a visit from the Easter Bunny.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Touch-A-Truck. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12. Free. Depot Park, 2828 Cherokee St., Kennesaw. www.kennesaw-ga.gov. Have you ever wanted to get a close-up view of construction vehicles, large trucks, specialty machines and public safety equipment? On March 12th, Kennesaw will host a Touch-A-Truck day that will allow you and your kiddos to climb inside one of these giant trucks, ask questions of vehicle operators and see transportation exhibits.
