Ice Skating in Atlanta
Through Jan. 10. Monday hours are 4:30-10 p.m. at Centennial Olympic Park. Not only is spending an evening at an ice rink a romantic date idea, but it's fun for family and friends, too. Noche de Velas celebration
5 p.m. at Aurora Theatre. Celebrate one of Colombia's most observed traditional holidays, Little Candles' Day or Candles Night. This day marks the unofficial start of the Christmas season in Colombia and is observed by lighting candles and lamps to illuminate the streets. 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Holiday Play Class

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights
5-10 p.m. at Atlanta Botanical Garden and repeats daily. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer comes to town
10 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. at Center for Puppetry Arts. Get in the holiday spirit for this year's adapted play based on the timeless animated television special. Sounds of the Season

Fantasy in Lights 2015
Through Jan. 2, 2016, at Callaway Gardens. Enjoy this spectacular light and sound show with some friends, family or a date and enjoy what National Geographic Traveler calls one of the world's "Top 10 Places to See Holiday Lights." Vienna Boys' Choir
7:30 p.m. at Atlanta Symphony Hall. One of the world's best known boys' choirs is headed to Atlanta all the way from Vienna, Austria. Peachtree Center Holiday Green Market
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Mall at Peachtree Center's food court. Get your holiday shopping done this Thursday at the one-day-only seasonal Green Market featuring local vendors. Shop for gifts and goods including produce, baked goods, jellies, crafts and more. Event is free to the public.
Santa Ride
5 p.m. at Atkins Park. Grab your bikes and don your holiday costumes for a bike ride all around the city. Though there's no official fee, a minimum donation of $25 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society is much appreciated. The ride is less than ten miles and there will be a costume contest towards the end. Holiday Lights of Hope begins
Opens 6 p.m. every night through Dec. 22 at Hobgood Park. Don't miss this Woodstock hometown Christmas tradition. Walk through a scene of over 1,000,000 LED holiday lights, a 30-foot-tall Christmas Light Tree, 17-foot-tall reindeer and 15-foot-tall snowmen family. The event also features a Santa village, children's area, vendors, concessions, live music and more. The celebration benefits the Anna Crawford Children's Center. Atlanta Ballet's 'Nutcracker' kicks off

Atlanta Santa Speedo Run

The 7th annual event is made up of a 1.5 mile fun run to raise money for BlazeSports, which helps those with physical disabilities live full lives through sports and recreation. There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee for participants and individual commitment to raise at least $250 in donations.
