Lace up your hiking boots and get ready for fun with these outdoor offerings just for Atlanta's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities:

Women's Outdoor Network. Nature walks and camping trips fill this LGBT-friendly group's calendar, as well as Country Night at the Heretic and Bocce Scramble when you want something fun to do after hours! They have a 20 year history in Atlanta, helping people have fun and become more active.

This group plans regular activities, including whitewater rafting trips, hikes in Georgia's scenic mountains and even a group outing to the annual Beltline lantern parade. In The Woods Campground. Let your wild side out at this "naturist" campground in Northeast Georgia, owned and operated by two gay men. Enjoy the campground's beautiful scenery in a clothing optional setting. With a tagline like "30 Acres of Wood just waiting for you," this place promises a fun time. And they have plenty of special weekend events that venture beyond Georgia.

Oz Campground. Musclebear fitness weekend, Country Boys weekend and drag shows make this campground fun for those who want the excitement of city life after a hard day's hike, while still enjoying Georgia's great outdoors. Funky Black Gals. If you are an adventure-seeker looking for other black, queer women to connect with, then this is the group for you. Expect hiking, archery, horseback riding, camping and canoeing as some pf the typical "funky" adventures to explore. 

The River's Edge. The campground bills itself as "100% gay owned-and-operated," so plan your escape to this campground if you love the outdoors and country life.
