Whether you're looking for adult frights or family-friendly fun, Gwinnett has Halloween happenings to fit boils and ghouls of all ages.

Norcross

Netherworld Haunted House, Opens Oct. 2, hours vary

Critics often howl praises for this haunted attraction. It offers two separate haunts: The Rotting and Vault 13: Unearthed. Evil spirits, ghouls, aliens, toxic foam and more provide scares aplenty.

Lawrenceville

Lawrenceville Ghost Tours, 7:30 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays; 7 and 9 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, Oct. 1-31.

Stepping off at Aurora Theatre, this 90-minute tour takes guests on a walk around the courthouse square and past storefronts each claiming a bit of haunted history. This includes stepping foot inside the old jail, an alleged hub for spooky activity. An additional experience, the Haunted Cemetery Tour, takes place weekends Oct. 9-31 ($20 per person).

Snellville

Scream on the Trail, 7:45-10:30 p.m. through Oct. 31.

Take this outdoor trail and bump into things that go bump in the night. A crazed butcher and the legendary Dr. Frankenstein lurk among the brush. For a more scare-free experience for kids, make sure to let the gatekeeper know before entering.

Spooktacular Skate Party, 6 p.m. Oct. 24.

No matter what your Halloween costume may be, make sure to slip on some skates. The park's outdoor roller-skating rink plays host to this Halloween bash featuring a live DJ, arts and crafts, games and a costume contest.

Buford

Buford Corn Maze, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 10 a.m.-midnight Fridays-Saturdays; noon-10 p.m. Sundays throughout October.

Kids of all ages try to make their way through a twisting corn maze. Other attractions include hayrides, the Haunted Forest, a popcorn jumping pillow, a bounce house and more. Remember the maze stays open until 10 p.m. Oct. 12 for the school holiday.

TICKETS: $15 for the maze; $15 for Haunted Forest; $24 combo ticket for both; free ages 3 and younger with a paid adult.
