Dress up your pooch for a costume contest on the hotel's outdoor terrace, with proceeds benefiting Best Friends - Atlanta. Mummies and Mixers. 7:00 p.m. In advance: $20 for members, $25 for Emory students and alumni, $30 for everyone else. $40 at the door. Michael C. They'll be tapping a cellared 2014 Southern Tier Warlock keg and hosting a pumpkin carving contest. The contest starts at 10 p.m. with registration at 9. Atkins will provide the pumpkins so get there early to get in on the competitition. Carvers can sip on a complimentary Southern Tier Pumpking.

Radio 105.7's third annual Saints & Sinners Ball will feature live music performances from Foals, Bear Hands (get it?) and Kiev plus themed drink specials and plenty of surprises throughout the night. This Witches of Eastwick themed event brings together an all-female lineup of chefs for a family-style meal celebrating the Southern culinary experience. Some are local like Asha Gomez and Savannah Sasser while others hail from out-of-town or from neighboring states. Event proceeds directly benefit the James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program.
