Red Hare Root Beer can launch
You’ve sampled Red Hare’s Sticky Stout and let your taste buds linger on their Long Day Lager. Now prepare for something new — something for the whole family — as the Marietta brewery makes its Red Hare Root Beer available in cans. Guests are invited to be part of the launch as the nonalcoholic craft soda starts rolling off the assembly line. Souvenir glassware and root beer-scented T-shirts will be available. For $5, attendees can sample up to six glasses of root beer; $15 comes with a Red Hare beer selection.

English tea with Mary Poppins
Aside from medicine, what goes great with a spoonful of sugar? A cup of tea, of course! And who better to have tea with than Mary Poppins herself? The famous nanny will be at Trinity Christian School Jan. 23 and 24 for a proper English tea. Bert and the entire Banks family will be there, too, as the Trinity Drama Department prepares for its upcoming production of “Mary Poppins” later this month. Guests will have the chance to mingle with the famous characters and enjoy a spot of tea, then leave with a special Mary Poppins tea cup.

“Peter Rabbit Tales”
Hop back into the world of Peter Rabbit as the beloved bunny returns with a fresh set of tales. Peter’s sister, Flopsy, and his cousin, Benjamin, are now married, with bunnies of their own. It isn’t long before the next generation of cotton-tailed friends need a little help from Peter, causing him to relive some of his childhood misadventures, including a brush with Mr. McGregor. The production features an array of puppets, vivid scenery and original music staged by the Enchantment Theatre Company.
