Georgia Trust Spring Ramble
Get a glimpse into historic properties that aren’t often open to the public during the Spring Ramble, three days of go-at-your-own-pace touring organized by the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. The excursion offers the chance to visit more than 50 significant homes and sites in the Marietta, Kennesaw and Acworth areas of northwest Cobb County. Tours are split into three days, so “ramblers” can choose to explore each site over the course of the weekend or just a single day. For an additional cost, attendees also can take advantage of special dining options, including dinners on Friday and Saturday and a Sunday brunch. All proceeds benefit the Georgia Trust.
11 a.m.-5 p.m. April 22-23, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 24. $50-$290. Various locations in Cobb. 404-881-9980, georgiatrust.org.
